Avant Homes Central has submitted a planning application and exchanged contracts on a 9-acre site in Sutton-in-Ashfield on which it intends to build eight new homes.
The £23.1m Silverhill Edge development, which is located off Fisher Close just a 15-minute drive from Mansfield railway station, will comprise a mix of Avant Homes’ two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom practically designed, energy-efficient homes.
If given the go ahead by Ashford District Council, work at the development is anticipated to start in August 2025 with the first residents expected to move in by April 2026.
Matt Barker, director at Avant Homes Central, said: “Sutton-in-Ashfield is a fantastic location for us to further expand our development footprint in Nottinghamshire. As a company, we are committed to providing quality new homes for everyone in places where people want to live. Silverhill Edge is an excellent opportunity for us to deliver on this. We now look forward to Ashford District Council considering our plans to create a new thriving community in Sutton-in-Ashfield.”
