Aviva Investors has appointed Edmond de Fels as investment manager in its European real estate team – the fourth addition to the team this year.
De Fels, who joins from Ivanhoé Cambridge where he held various positions, will be based in Paris and manage real estate investments in the French market.
George Fraser-Harding, head of European funds, real estate, at Aviva Investors, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Edmond to our growing pan-European real estate team, which has now closed on roughly €700m worth of deals in 2022 alone. Edmond comes with a great deal of experience in European real estate markets, having spent time investing across numerous strategies.
“He will primarily oversee our activity in the French market, which we expect will be one of our main geographical focuses over the coming few years as we look to continue building out our portfolio and deliver long-term returns for our clients.”
