A new land sales, development and architecture consultancy called MiTo Land has launched to provide specialist advise to landowners and SME developers.
Based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, the directors of the business are Toby Lambert, a chartered surveyor with an extensive track record in residential land transactions, and Michael Margereson, a development expert with a background in commercial and residential planning.
They will work with design consultant Philip Ashenden, who has more than 20 years of experience in architectural and urban planning for major UK housebuilders.
Lambert said: “We look forward to working with landowners across the Home Counties, using our knowledge and connections to navigate the complex land sales process, to determine the most suitable route to a sale and unlock the full value of each piece of land. In the context of the government’s growth agenda, the opportunity to realise land value has never been greater.”
Margereson added: “For developers we offer a strategic approach to land acquisition, planning and development services, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that maximise land potential. We will help simplify the ever-changing complexities of achieving planning consent, providing a tailored and rapid route to a successful completed development.
“With the government pledging a commitment to housebuilders of all sizes, we expect to see more opportunities for smaller, well-planned residential sites, especially in the Home Counties and East of England where demand is very high.”
