Avison Young has appointed Julien Kenny-Levick from Roger Hannah as a director in its industrial team.
Kenny-Levick spent eight years at Roger Hannah, where he lead the industrial agency team, and prior to that he spent more than 12 years at Colliers as a director and head of industrial and logistics in the North West.
Kenny-Levick will head up Avison Young’s industrial team in Manchester, working alongside Simon Hampson and Jack Rodgers, both of whom operate across transactional, consultancy and development roles.
As part of his new role, he will oversee acquisitions, disposals and lease advisory in the industrial sector.
Chris Cheap, principal and managing director of transactions at Avison Young, said: “We’re delighted to be joined by someone of Julien’s experience and standing within the sector at what is a pivotal time for the North West’s industrial and logistics market. In just the first six months of the year, we’ve seen 1.8m sq ft of deals across sheds larger than 50,000 sq ft and a new headline rent set in Warrington. We’re excited to leverage Julien’s experience to facilitate some landmark deals as we settle into the second half of the year.”
David Wilmer, principal and managing director of industrial and logistics at Avison Young, added: “The industrial sector has been identified as a key priority within the government’s recent Industrial Strategy, and we’re seeing increased demand from clients. In the North West, the occupier base is diverse, and Julien’s experience will be incredibly valuable in helping us deliver best-in-class advisory, consultancy and wider services to our clients.”
Kenny-Levick said: “I’m excited to have joined Avison Young during a period of significant growth for the business, working alongside my new colleagues to establish Avison Young’s Manchester industrial team as one the best in the North West. I’m looking forward to growing the services we offer to our clients and collaborating on some exciting new projects as the industrial sector continues to grow.”
