Rapleys has recruited Harri Drysdale from Tetra Tech to lead the company’s new health and safety service.
Drysdale has more than 15 years’ experience in the health and safety field working for businesses including Andrew Goddard Associates, BDP, Wood, AECOM and WT Partnership.
Rapleys’ new health and safety team will offer services such as CDM principal designer, principal designer building regulations, client CDM adviser and construction health and safety advice with CPD and training delivery.
Simon Harbour, head of building surveying at Rapleys, said: “Growing demand for building services, together with changing legislation has meant that we saw an opportunity to bring in specialists to lead new service offers within our building consultancy division. These are services that join up the dots with our existing expertise and will be a real value add to clients looking to build resilience into their projects, assets and developments as part of their overall strategy.
“The previous new services we launched this year have already seen huge demand and have slotted in perfectly with our existing offer. We know that health and safety will further complement our building consultancy division and provide reassurance to clients that this is very much a core part of our advice and that this crucial element is not missing from their project, but in fact very much prioritised.”
