Global investment firm Cain has added Jamie’s Italian to its Brava Hospitality platform, marking the brand’s return to the UK market via a new partnership with Jamie Oliver.

The Jamie’s Kitchen brand will sit alongside Prezzo Italian as part of Brava’s expanding portfolio.

The brand, which has been absent from the UK market since 2019, continues to operate across more than 30 locations in 15 countries worldwide.

The first new UK site is scheduled to open on Irving Street near Leicester Square in early 2026. Further locations have already been identified and plans are in place to open up to 40 UK restaurants.

Jonathan Goldstein, CEO of Cain, said: “With Brava, we are backing brands that add cultural and community value to high streets across the country. Jamie Oliver has expanded the way people and families engage with food in Britain, and has built a global brand with enduring appeal that we believe will translate strongly across UK high streets. We are thrilled to partner with him in bringing Jamie’s Italian back as part of Brava’s growth strategy.”

Oliver added: “As a chef, having the chance to return to the high street is incredibly important to me. I believe the mid-market needs excitement, surprise and delight and that’s exactly what I am planning on delivering. Eating out is a treat but I believe it should offer value for money with higher welfare sourcing. I will drive the menus, make sure the sourcing is right, the staff training and ensure the look and feel of the restaurant is brought to life in the right way. All the effort, time, love and attention will be the same as before.”

James Brown, CEO of Brava Hospitality, said: “At Brava, our focus is to invest in brands where food, people and purpose come together. Jamie’s Italian has meaningful recognition and customer affection, and we believe it can once again be a defining presence in British dining.”
