Cameron Homes has acquired a 6.2-acre residential development site in Burbage, Leicestershire, from Central Co-op for an undisclosed price.
The site, which is located less than a mile from Junction 1 of the M69, has outline planning consent for 40 houses, 20% of which are allocated for affordable housing.
The open pasture land was brought to market by Mather Jamie on behalf of Central Co-op, the long term landowner of the site, which had previously successfully secured outline planning for residential development.
Cameron Homes has appointed Pegasus Architects to prepare a reserved matters planning application for submission in early 2026.

In the new year, we’ll be submitting a detailed planning application for a quintessential £16m Cameron development of beautifully designed and detailed family houses.”
