The King’s Cross Group has expanded its senior leadership team with three new appointments.
Vasiliki Arvaniti, who has more than 20 years’ experience in complex asset management and development across office, retail and residential sectors, has joined the business as portfolio director.
Arvaniti, who joins from Derwent London where she served as head of asset management, will focus on driving performance across The King’s Cross Group’s portfolio, ensuring its places evolve and continue to meet the needs of occupiers and visitors.
Jane Macdiarmid has joined the company as head of retail asset management from Grosvenor, where she was retail portfolio director for Belgravia, and Jazmin Beale has joined as marketing director from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, where she was head of marketing and brand.
Leo Shapland, CEO of The King’s Cross Group, said: “This is a significant moment for The King’s Cross Group as we invest in the team that will help shape the next phase of the business. Together, these appointments will strengthen our placemaking expertise to deliver world-leading, innovative and inclusive destinations that connect, inspire and deliver for all who interact with them.”
Arvaniti added: “The King’s Cross Group has a remarkable opportunity ahead and I’m excited to be joining at such a crucial time in its journey where I‘ll be focusing on driving this next chapter for King’s Cross. That starts with our commitment to putting customers right at the heart of how we manage our assets, ensuring that the places we create perform for our investors and the people who live, work, socialise and study in them every day.”
Macdiarmid said: “The King’s Cross Group’s retail and leisure offer already sets the business apart. The best places are those that constantly evolve, which is the mindset I’ll bring as we seek out new brands and experiences that surprise people, reflect the energy of our places and make King’s Cross somewhere people don’t just visit – they talk about.”
Beale (pictured) added: “Places succeed when people feel connection, inspiration and possibility and that’s precisely what I’ll be looking to unlock at The King’s Cross Group as we curate experiences that bring people in, make them want to stay and return time and again.”
