Melburg Capital has acquired the former Alanod HQ building on Chippenham Drive in Milton Keynes in an off-market deal for an undisclosed price.
The property, which was built in the early 2000s, sits on a four-acre+ site and is located immediately adjacent to Magna Park, just five minutes from Junctions 13 and 14 of the M1.
On acquisition, Melburg simultaneously restructured three separate leases accounting for approximately 60,000 sq ft of occupied space. It will now begin marketing the remaining circa 30,000 sq ft of prime logistics space via the appointed agents Kirkby Diamond.
Handelsbanken provided a senior debt facility for the acquisition and Keystone Law and Freedman + Hilmi provided legal services. Newson Real Estate acted for Melburg and Alanod was represented by Kirkby Diamond.
The transaction represents the fourth owner-occupier acquisition within a six-month period for Melburg as it continues to grow its supply chain infrastructure platform.
