Fintech company Arrival has appointed Clare Johnson, build-to-rent director at Centrick, as an adviser to its board.
Arrival, which is on track to pass one million homes under partnership by year end, guarantees residents access to the cheapest available utility rates, provides operators with a low cost managed rent collection service and automates void billing across portfolios, removing one of the most persistent operational headaches in rental housing.
Johnson said: “The friction renters face with basic things like utilities is completely unnecessary, and operators are still carrying huge administrative burdens because of it. What Arrival has built genuinely fixes this. It’s refreshing to see a company lean into regulation and compliance to solve these problems properly. Done wrong, there are real operational and reputational risks for operators. Arrival understands that and I wanted to help them get it right at scale.”
