Simple Life Management, the operational arm of build-to-rent (BTR) specialist Sigma Capital, has appointed Ged McPartlin as managing director.
McPartlin has more than 25 years’ experience of the UK BTR and single-family housing sectors spanning lettings, property management and large-scale residential asset operations.
He founded and scaled Ascend, growing the business over eight years to £10m in annual turnover before exiting in 2023.
In his new role, McPartlin will lead the strategic growth of Simple Life Management, focusing on the continued expansion of its national portfolio, enhancing institutional partnerships and further strengthening the platform.

He already has very strong relationships with our team and has extensive knowledge of the BTR market as a founder and creator of his previous business.
