Property auction specialist BidX1 has appointed Richard Webb as head of regional sales in the company’s business development team.
Webb, who has more than 21 years’ experience across estate agency, valuations and auctions, began his career with Foxtons before progressing through roles at Ellison’s in Wimbledon and Sowerby’s in Norfolk. He joins BidX1 from Pattinson Auction where he spent almost a decade working as national sales manager.
In his new role, Webb will focus on expanding the company’s UK agency partnerships, increasing regional stock acquisition and strengthening BidX1’s position in key growth areas, including across the country.
Webb said: “Online auctions, when done properly, deliver clarity, speed and stronger outcomes for agents, sellers and buyers alike. I believe that BidX1 represents a genuinely different proposition.
