Long Harbour has secured a five-year £160m investment loan from NatWest secured against two completed build-to-rent (BTR) assets in London.
The Eades BTR asset in Walthamstow, which comprises 495 homes across two towers, is almost fully let, having reached practical completion in September 2025. Riverstone Heights (pictured) in East London, which comprises 204 homes for rent, is fully stabilised, having reached practical completion in March 2023.
Both assets are managed by Long Harbour’s vertically integrated platform Way of Life and sit within the LHMF 2 JV Partnership.
Rebecca Taylor, managing director of multi-family at Long Harbour, said: “This debt facility demonstrates the strength of the build-to-rent sector’s investment proposition, where the ongoing imbalance between demand and supply continues to support growth. The Eades and Riverstone Heights are exceptional assets, and our team has shown real operational strength through our vertically integrated platform, Way of Life, delivering long term income streams and helping us secure this attractive new financing from NatWest.
“Both assets sit within regeneration zones, providing high quality, professionally managed homes for local people as well as attracting residents from across London. As supply of quality build-to-rent homes in the capital remains constrained and demand keeps growing, we are confident in the long term prospects of these two prime assets, which stand to benefit significantly from this financing.”
Michael Goode, director and BTR lead at NatWest, added: “The continuation of NatWest’s financing of The Eades, which we’ve funded through development and stabilisation, is testament to the product brought forward by the Long Harbour team and we are delighted to add another excellent example of BTR accommodation, in Riverstone Heights, to the facility.”
