AEW has appointed Anthony Butler to the newly created role of head of industrial and logistics Europe.
Butler has more than 30 years of experience in real estate investment management in Europe and Asia Pacific and joins AEW from Mirastar REIM where he was co-founder and CIO.
Prior to this, he was CIO at Delin Capital Management and global co-head of transactions and global head of indirect investments at Generali Real Estate.
Butler, who will be based in London, will take on the role in March and will report to Vanessa Roux-Collet, AEW’s European CEO.
He will oversee AEW’s European industrial and logistics funds and asset management functions, as well as the growth of the platform, which now comprises more than 6.4m sq m of space across 11 European countries.
