Allsop has opened a new office in Manchester to support its expansion plans in the region.
Located at 125 Deansgate, Allsop’s Manchester office will be used by a number of teams across the business, as well as Allsop Letting and Management (ALM). Liam Dowdell (pictured), a partner specialising in residential valuations, will lead the new office.
Andrew Boyd, senior partner at Allsop, said: “With existing clients and key staff already based in Manchester, opening an office in the city is a logical step in our strategy to grow our regional business. Allsop Letting and Management already manages several significant buildings in Manchester, and there are exciting opportunities in the pipeline as it continues to win mandates from some of the biggest investors in the rental living sector.
“Similarly, our residential, commercial and advisory business lines, including valuations, in the city have gone from strength to strength, warranting an on-the-ground presence in this part of the UK. As the market conditions continue to improve, this office will enable us to further build our partner-led offering, serving clients across the North of England in close collaboration with our colleagues across Leeds and London.”
Dowdell added: “I have watched with growing interest the steady and exciting growth across Manchester since moving here in 2012. The city benefits from strong residential and occupational markets, a positive political and planning environment and wide-ranging domestic and international investment, providing many opportunities for business growth. Our mission is to help clients unlock and maximise new opportunities in this favourable setting.”
