Avison Young has made two senior hires to expand its sustainability and decarbonisation team and support the launch of its decarb service line.
Rob Redfern, who has more than 25 years’ experience in building services engineering, has been appointed as associate director of green energy and decarbonisation. Redfern joins from Tesco where he was group renewable energy manager and led the company’s onsite renewable strategy across the UK, Ireland and Central Europe.
Avison Young has also recruited Nadine Lawless from CBRE as associate director. Lawless was sustainability key client lead at CBRE and was accountable for developing and implementing the ESG strategy for CBRE UK property management.
Redfern and Lawless will join Holly Evans, associate director in utilities, in Avison Young’s new decarb team.
