Avison Young has hired Richard Cottingham from Savills as a director in the company’s Scottish land and development team.
At Savills, Cottingham was an associate director in the development team and prior to that he was a senior surveyor at DTZ.
In his new role, he will work alongside Stewart Taylor, managing director for Edinburgh, building Avison Young’s land and development presence across Scotland with a specific focus on the residential sector.
Cottingham said: “I am delighted to be taking on this new role at Avison Young, and excited by the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the firm’s offering. Taylor added: “Richard is a fantastic addition to our land and development team.
