Stoford has agreed a pre-sale with MiTek for a 278,048 sq ft unit at Worcester Six Business Park.

The company has submitted a planning application for the new manufacturing facility at the southern extension of Worcester Six, near junction six of the M5, which will serve as MiTek’s EMEA headquarters.

Stoford recently commenced phase two infrastructure works at Worcester Six, which will facilitate the development of the southern extension of the site, unlocking more than 60 acres of land and up to 680,000 sq ft of employment space.

Edward Peel, director at Stoford, said: “This is a hugely significant deal for Worcester Six and a tremendous boost for employment in Worcestershire. MiTek’s commitment to establishing a new headquarters at Worcester Six, supports our vision to extend the business park and improve the site’s deliverability to occupiers. We are looking forward to securing planning consent and starting work on another prime unit.”

James Morgan, managing director for MiTek’s EMEA operations, added: “As demand for offsite construction continues to grow, this building will provide the manufacturing capacity to support the continued growth of our customers across Europe, as well as providing spaces that inspire creativity, foster collaboration, and drive innovation.”

The retained letting agents at Worcester Six are Harris Lamb and BNP Paribas Real Estate.
