Housebuilder Backhouse has secured planning consent for two new residential developments in Chippenham, Wiltshire, and North Leigh, West Oxfordshire.
The two developments will deliver 125 new homes, including a significant proportion of affordable housing.
The Chippenham scheme, which will be built on Saltersford Lane, will provide 70 new one- to four-bedroom homes, 40% of which will be affordable, including seven homes available through the government-backed First Homes scheme.
The second development, situated on Akeman Road in North Leigh, will deliver 55 new one- to five-bedroom homes, including a collection of larger detached family homes. Forty per cent of the homes will be affordable, alongside five proposed First Homes properties.
