Bargate has secured planning consent for for 62 new homes at Berewood Garden Village, Waterlooville.
Bargate’s scheme forms part of Grainger’s wider Berewood masterplan for the 250-acre site, which received outline planning permission in 2012 for at least 2,550 homes and local amenities.
The Hampshire-based housebuilder’s plans fall within the ‘Garden Suburb’ area of the Berewood masterplan and the site is positioned on the western boundary, overlooking open countryside and a nature reserve.
The development will include a variety of one- to four-bedroom homes – 25 of which will be available for both shared ownership and affordable rent – a play area and a footpath network connecting to the wider scheme.
