Redford Developments has appointed Polly Mathews to the role of senior planning manager.
Matthews joins the recently launched Warwickshire-based business from the Birmingham office of Berkeley St Joseph where she worked for six years as a senior land and planning manager. Prior to that, she was a planner at RPS Consulting Services.
Richard Mees, chief executive of Redford Developments, said: “Polly joins us with invaluable experience gained at Berkeley St Joseph and during her time as a planning consultant. She brings a new dimension to the team and we are thrilled to have her on board. Having just obtained outline planning for a 400-bed PBSA scheme next to the University of Warwick, we are seeking to lodge four major planning applications this year. We currently have 10 sites at various stages of the planning cycle and are also targeting the acquisition of an additional eight sites.”
Mathews added: “I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Berkeley St Joseph, working on their flagship schemes; Snow Hill Wharf, and Glasswater Locks in Birmingham, together with the masterplanning process for an exciting regeneration coming forward within the city core. I am delighted to now be working across Redford’s full portfolio of sites, where I can be part of a small team, seeing through the entire planning and pre-construction process.”
