BNP Paribas Real Estate has appointed Craig Chatwin from Cushman & Wakefield as head of Birmingham building consultancy.

Chatwin spent almost a decade at Cushman & Wakefield, where he held the role of associate building surveyor and worked for both investors and occupiers across the Midlands.

In his new role, he will work closely with Ian Bragg, UK head of building consultancy at BNP Paribas Real Estate, to expand the company’s Midlands footprint.

Bragg said: “Craig’s appointment strengthens our ability to provide exceptional expertise across the Midlands, a region that continues to demonstrate resilience and opportunities for growth with significant regeneration projects such as Paradise and Smithfield, and infrastructure investments boosting connectivity and urban regeneration.

“His deep understanding of the local market and technical expertise align with our mission to deliver client-centric solutions that add real value in an evolving property landscape.”

Chatwin added: “I join BNP Paribas Real Estate with a unique opportunity to shape the strategic direction of the Birmingham building consultancy team. I look forward to working with our clients to deliver impactful, long-term solutions.”
