The British Property Federation (BPF) has appointed Paul Weston, regional head of Prologis UK, as the new chair of its logistics property board.

Weston is assuming the role from David Sleath, CEO of SEGRO, and will work alongside newly appointed vice-chair, Julian Carey, CEO of Indurent.

Weston said: “I am honoured to be appointed chair of the BPF logistics property board at such a pivotal moment for our industry. With industrial logistics increasingly recognised as critical physical and digital infrastructure, it is vital that policy supports the sector’s ability to deliver sustainable growth, strengthen supply chains and help the UK decarbonise. I look forward to working with colleagues across the industry to ensure our voice is heard and that policy enables us to power UK growth, create skilled jobs across the regions and build a more resilient, lower-carbon economy.”

Carey added: “Industrial and logistics facilities underpin the way we live, work and shop. From local SMEs to blue-chip multinationals operating in sectors like life sciences, advanced manufacturing and food production, high-growth industries rely on modern, adaptable workspace to thrive. As vice-chair, I’m looking forward to working with Paul and the board to champion our vital sector and ensure its contribution to the UK’s industrial strategy is fully recognised.”
