Bruntwood has appointed Nuno Miller as the company’s first ever chief technology officer (CTO).

Miller joins Bruntwood from N Brown, where, as COO, he led transformation, technology, data and AI and cybersecurity. Prior to that, he held senior technology, digital and transformation leadership roles at Farfetch, Deloitte and Sonae, working across retail, e-commerce and consumer businesses.

In his new role, he will report directly to CEO Chris Oglesby and work closely with the executive team to shape business strategy and lead the next stage of Bruntwood’s digital transformation.

Miller will also help identify opportunities to use data, AI and automation to improve service, reduce manual processes and unlock new opportunities for innovation, with investment focused on delivering measurable commercial value.

Oglesby said: “As we mark 50 years as a business, creating this role is a clear statement of where we’re heading next. Our customers expect the same quality from their digital experience as they get from the spaces we create, and our colleagues deserve tools that help them do their best work. Nuno brings exactly the experience we need to make technology a real differentiator for Bruntwood, and I’m delighted to welcome him to the executive team.”

Miller added: “Bruntwood has built exceptional places and communities where innovative businesses thrive. The opportunity now is to use technology and data to make them even more connected for the people who use them. By bringing together customers, colleagues, buildings and services in smarter ways, and applying AI and automation where they create real value, we can enhance how the business operates today while helping shape the next generation of places, experiences and services.”
