Cadogan has appointed Seren Hirons as head of place to drive the company’s placemaking strategy.

Hirons, who has more than two decades’ experience of marketing and placemaking, joins Cadogan from Four Communications where she was most recently managing director of brand and luxury, co-leading the destination division.

Hugh Seaborn, chief executive of Cadogan, said: “I am delighted to welcome Seren to the Cadogan team. Our purpose is to ensure the long-term vitality of the neighbourhood – working closely with the community to deliver bold and exciting initiatives. Seren brings with her a wealth of strategic and creative experience which will be invaluable to the management of the estate as we look to strengthen Chelsea’s position as one of the world’s best places to live, work and visit.”

Hirons added: “I am thrilled to join such a dynamic team with a stellar reputation. Cadogan has been steward of the iconic neighbourhood of Chelsea for over 300 years, carefully shaping and building it into one of London’s most distinctive and attractive places. I am passionate about enhancing the power of a place and being a part of building the future of this remarkable area of London – through community, collaboration, vibrancy and tapping into its unique identity – is incredibly exciting.”
