CBRE has appointed Adam Baranowski as a director to lead the firm’s decarbonisation service line.

Baranowski (pictured) will join CBRE in July from the Better Buildings Partnership, where he led climate action and investment programmes focused on net zero carbon and investor engagement across the commercial real estate sector.

In his new role, Baranowski will lead the continued development of CBRE’s decarbonisation offering, working across teams and global service lines to deliver practical, implementable solutions for clients.

Andy Morgan, UK sustainability advisory senior leadership team at CBRE, said: “Adam brings strong market credibility and a deep understanding of the challenges investors and occupiers face in delivering decarbonisation at scale. His appointment reinforces our sustainability platform and strengthens our ability to support clients as decarbonisation increasingly becomes a pathway to near- and long-term value creation.”

Baranowski added: “It’s an exciting opportunity to join CBRE at a pivotal moment for sustainability in the real estate industry. I’m looking forward to working with clients and colleagues to translate decarbonisation ambition into practical action, supported by CBRE’s scale, expertise and global reach.”
