CBRE has appointed Dr Carl Deppisch as head of occupier for the company’s European industrial and logistics business.
Deppisch, who has more than 25 years’ experience of logistics and supply chains, joins CBRE from Kuehne + Nagel where he has held a number of senior international roles and most recently served as senior vice president of global real estate. Prior to that, he spent six years at consulting firm Accenture in its supply chain practice.
In his new role, Deppisch will report into Anna Esteban, head of advisory and transaction services for Europe at CBRE, and will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s I&L occupier growth strategy. Deppisch will join CBRE in February and will be based in Zurich.
Esteban said: “Carl brings significant client-side experience, affording him the ability to truly understand the rapidly evolving wants and needs of our I&L clients. The sector has experienced unprecedented change in recent years and this insight will allow both Carl, and the wider team, to provide superior advice and tailored solutions to our extensive occupier client base across Europe.”
Deppisch added: “I’m excited to take on this new challenge and join such a great team, leveraging both my experience in managing a global real estate portfolio and my background in supply chain management to deliver exceptional advice and customised supply chain solutions for occupiers.”
