CBRE has promoted Sarah Livingston to the role of head of UK healthcare sector.

Livingstone’s appointment follows the recent announcement that Irvinder Goodhew will join CBRE in March as head of sectors.

In her new role, Livingstone will be responsible for building a strategic growth plan and harnessing CBRE’s capabilities to further capitalise on opportunities in the healthcare sector.

To further strengthen its healthcare offering, Paddy Brice has joined CBRE from Opus to lead its healthcare investment properties business.

Livingston said: “Demand for healthcare continues to increase, and the health and care sectors are rapidly evolving, including an exciting number of new entrants into the market from both an investor and provider perspective. As a result, there is a growing demand for our proven and trusted advice. We’re having conversations with clients that we haven’t had for years, for example around building new hospitals, presenting new challenges and opportunities to those operating in the sector.

“2024 marks our most successful year to date as a team and we are excited to build on this momentum by bolstering our senior expertise, in particular in the care and senior living sectors. I can’t wait for us to get started.”
