Project consultancy practice Childerstone Project Management has appointed Paul Langham from Landsec as a director, focusing on the commercial real estate sector.
Langham spent more than 12 years at Landsec, where he was head of project management, overseeing delivery across a London development pipeline of around £3bn.
Prior to Landsec, he was project director at Stanhope and earlier in his career he served as head of project and development management for Davis Langdon in the Middle East and held a senior project and development role at British Land.
In his new role, he will work on a number of existing commercial office refurbishment and development opportunities and collaborate with the wider leadership team to support clients on commercial development opportunities. He will also look to secure new opportunities within the sector.
David Watts, managing director of Childerstone Project Management, said: “With a strong reputation in the sector, Paul brings an exceptional depth of project and development management experience gained through leadership and delivery of some of the UK’s most significant and technically complex property projects. This, combined with his strategic expertise and commercial understanding, will be enormously valuable to our clients and our growing team.
“His appointment reflects our ambition to further strengthen our senior expertise as we look to continue our growth, disrupting the traditional consultancy offering in the London and wider UK market. We’re thrilled to welcome Paul to the business.”
Langham added: “Childerstone has created a name for itself in the market by combining high quality, senior-level expertise with an attentive and highly personalised service. I was attracted by the business’s clear focus on understanding what clients need and adding value throughout the project lifecycle. I’m looking forward to working with David and the wider team, supporting and growing the client base and helping the firm enter its next phase of growth.”
