Jackson House Investments has let 6,512 sq ft on the fourth floor of Jackson House in Sale to Closomat.
The UK manufacturer and service provider has taken the space at a rent of £24/ sq ft, following an exposed services refurbishment undertaken by the landlord.
More than 42,000 sq ft has been let within the building over the past 12 months and the remaining space consists of small, fitted suites for eight people, up to larger suites of 14,000 sq ft. The building’s on-site amenity provision includes a business lounge, café and gym.
Richard Lowe, director in the Manchester office agency team at Savills, which acted for the landlord on the letting, said: “This transaction is a great example of how a proactive landlord working with a high quality tenant can achieve a successful and efficient outcome for both parties.”
Tracy Worrall, managing director of Closomat, added: “Our move into a shared office environment marks an exciting new chapter for Closomat. The modern space and shared facilities give us the flexibility to work more collaboratively, embrace new ways of working and scale efficiently as the business grows. This move reflects our commitment to creating a dynamic, customer-focused working environment into the future.”
Peter Buckles, consulting asset manager on behalf of Jackson House Investments, said: “This is fantastic news for Jackson House. Closomat is a well-established and respected brand, making it an excellent addition to the building’s tenant community. This summer the landlord is due to start another large ‘exposed services’ Cat A fit in Jackson House, bringing more high quality office space to the South Manchester A56 Corridor.”
Closomat represented itself. Canning O’Neill, Lambert Smith Hampton and Savills are joint agents at Jackson House.
