Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Jake Pygall from Avison Young as a partner in its logistics and industrial team.
Pygall will be based in the firm’s Leeds office and will lead Cushman & Wakefield’s Yorkshire and North East logistics and industrial team.
He spent more than nine years at Avison Young and most recently served as a director, advising a range of clients on acquisitions, disposals, development and strategic planning for industrial property and employment land across Yorkshire and the North Midlands.
Richard Evans, head of UK logistics and industrial at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jake to our team. Following a strong recovery in 2025, market momentum is building, and his expertise will be invaluable as we support clients navigating this growth. Last year, Yorkshire and the Humber saw demand almost double to 4.7m sq ft, while the North East recorded a 35% increase. Looking ahead, Yorkshire and the Humber is set to play a central role in high growth sectors, underpinned by strategic investment zones, two freeports and advanced manufacturing clusters.”
Pygall added: “It is an exciting time to join Cushman & Wakefield. I’m looking forward to collaborating with the talented team to help clients achieve their ambitions – from new market entrants to established businesses expanding their UK footprints.”
