Driverless vehicle manufacturer Aurrigo International has signed for 130,615 sq ft of space at Power Park Coventry.
The company is currently based on Bilton Industrial Estate and the larger new facility gives it the space for an on-site autonomous vehicle test track to support faster development of its autonomous vehicles.
Bromwich Hardy arranged the deal on behalf of former tenants REE Automotive UK, which has now assigned the lease to Aurrigo. The company will pay annual rent of £850,000 to landlord Oxenwood Real Estate.
Ed Bunbury, partner at Bromwich Hardy, said: “We’re pleased to have concluded this deal which will now see a huge expansion by Aurrigo, eventually creating new jobs in Coventry.”
