Global financial services firm BNY has signed for 200,000 sq ft at MEPC’s 4 Angel Square office building at NOMA in Manchester.
BNY will be the sole occupier of 4 Angel Square and intends to relocate its existing Manchester team from two other locations in the city to the 10-storey building by 2026.
The firm has agreed a long lease on the net zero carbon in operation building, which boasts a 5* NABERS Design for Performance rating, in addition to BREEAM Outstanding and WiredScore Platinum ratings.

Peter Gallagher, from Colliers, who acted for MEPC/NOMA on the letting, said: “Manchester leads the regional ‘Big 6’ in average inward investment take-up for a reason – it has always offered large corporate occupiers plenty of options. However, that dynamic could be about to shift as we predict a scramble for what remaining space there is left in the city.
