Greenbox has secured planning consent to deliver a new 181,742 sq ft Grade A industrial and logistics unit at the Greenbox Thirsk development in North Yorkshire.

The joint venture between Citivale and Partners Group has already secured consent for the 365,000 sq ft GB365 unit and the 272,504 sq ft GB272 unit on the 52-acre site.

Alongside the newly approved unit GB181, the site, which is located four miles from the A1(M), can accommodate units for SMEs of circa 12,000 sq ft all the way through to a single footprint unit of 820,000 sq ft.

Greenbox is targeting BREEAM Excellent, EPC A and net zero in construction and operation ratings for the units.

Alex Reynolds, development director at Citivale, said: “Securing further planning at Greenbox Thirsk marks another major step in our strategy to deliver next-generation, net zero logistics hubs. This project reinforces Yorkshire’s position at the forefront of UK logistics and reflects Greenbox’s mission to shape a more sustainable, resilient supply chain through purposeful innovation. We look forward to speaking with interested occupiers on this exciting opportunity.”
