Greencore Construction has appointed Jonathan Miller, formerly regional managing director of Tilia Homes, as operations director.
Greencore, which builds homes using natural materials such as hemp, lime, natural fibre insulation and timber, has brought Miller on board to increase the businesses’ delivery of climate positive homes.
Miller has more than 35 years’ experience in the property sector and at Tilia – formerly Kier Living – he was overseeing the construction of around 500 homes per year.
Jon Di-Stefano, CEO of Greencore, said: “I am delighted that Jonathan is joining us as operations director at Greencore. He has extensive housebuilding experience covering the delivery of thousands of new homes. Greencore is targeting significant expansion and Jonathan will be responsible for ensuring we are operationally ready to achieve that whilst always maintaining first class health and safety and an exceptional level of quality.”
Miller said: “I am excited to be joining the team at Greencore and I am looking forward to driving our ambitious goals for the delivery of new ‘climate positive’ homes. Throughout my 35-year career I have always had a passion for delivering sustainable developments and I believe my experience will help Greencore as it seeks to establish a new standard in house building.”
Earlier this year, M&G’s Catalyst team acquired a majority stake in Greencore and on announcing the deal M&G’s real estate investment team said it intended to invest up to £500m, on behalf of its residential property strategies, into new sustainable private and social affordable rental housing developments in partnership with Greencore.
