Host Student Housing has appointed Rebecca Williams as the company’s new business development director.
Williams has more than 14 years’ experience of the student accommodation sector and previously spent two and a half years as commercial director at Homes for Students. Prior to that, she served as marketing and UK commercial director at CRM Students.
In her new role, she will spearhead Host’s commercial strategy and will be tasked with unlocking new third-party management opportunities and enhancing service delivery for investors, clients, and residents.
John Nesbitt, managing director of Host, said: “Securing someone of Rebecca’s calibre sends a strong message to the market about Host’s growth ambitions and our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional third-party management services. Rebecca’s unmatched expertise and client-first approach give us a distinct edge. We look forward to building new partnerships and driving greater value for our clients.”
Williams added: “I’m delighted to be joining Host at such an exciting time in its growth journey. As one of the first PBSA third-party operators, Host brings a wealth of experience and longevity to the sector. The recent launch of the Habito co-living brand demonstrates the company’s desire to evolve and expand their operational capability within the living sector.
“I look forward to working with the team to build on their strong foundation; expanding the portfolio and continuing to build lasting partnerships through exceptional service delivery and asset performance, in both PBSA and co-living.”
