British Land has let two additional units to Inditex brands at Meadowhall shopping centre.
Pull&Bear has taken a 13,000 sq ft flagship store on Meadowhall’s Lower Level High Street and Stradivarius has signed for the adjacent 8,200 sq ft unit.
Following completion of the lettings, Inditex occupies more than 70,000 sq ft at Meadowhall across its fashion brands.
Richard Crowther, retail leasing director at British Land, said: “This double deal with Inditex, to create regional debuts for Stradivarius and Pull&Bear, is indicative of the leasing demand at Meadowhall, and its success. Last year, we exchanged on new leases covering over 300,000 sq ft, seeing £47m investment by brands alone across 2024 and 2025. 2026 will be no different, with more than 25 brands already committed, and due to bring a further £8m of investment to the centre.
“Our longstanding partnership with Inditex, which led to the opening of Bershka and Zara’s major upsize and refit in 2024, has created an environment in which the global fashion group has invested further in Meadowhall. The regional debuts for Stradivarius and Pull&Bear are evidence of that continued desire for presence at Meadowhall, from one of the biggest names in retail.”
