Legal & General Investment Management’s (LGIM) Industrial Property Investment Fund (IPIF) and Graftongate have secured planning consent for a circa 100,000 sq ft multi-unit industrial/logistics scheme in Horsham, West Sussex.

Axis 24, which comprises seven units ranging in size from circa 3,000 sq ft to circa 43,000 sq ft, will be built on a 6.2-acre site at Oakhurst Business Park in Southwater.

The joint venture partners are targeting BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A+ rating for the units, which feature EV charging points and PV roof panels.

Alex Thomason, director at Graftongate, said: “We are very pleased to have been granted detailed planning consent for Axis 24. This will be a best-in-class industrial/logistics scheme in a strategic location within the Gatwick Diamond and with excellent transport links. We will be targeting the highest industry standards in sustainability and expect the scheme to attract significant occupier interest.”

Savills and Graves Jenkins are joint letting agents for the scheme.
