JLL has appointed Grace Hicks as lead director of its Exeter office.
Hicks, who is a director in JLL’s compulsory purchase business, has worked with local authorities, developers and infrastructure clients on some of the region’s most significant development and regeneration projects.
In her expanded role, she will oversee the continued growth of JLL’s Exeter office, working alongside the wider South West team to deliver comprehensive property advisory services to clients across the region.
Hicks will continue to lead JLL’s South West compulsory purchase team – a position she has held for the past four years.
Hicks said: “This is an exciting opportunity to take on a broader leadership role in a region with so much potential for growth. Having worked in the South West market for the last 20 years, I understand the unique opportunities this region presents. The Exeter office plays a vital role in serving our clients across the South West, and I look forward to building on our strong foundation while expanding our capabilities to meet evolving market demands.”
Tim Harris, head of South West and Wales at JLL, added: “Grace has been instrumental in establishing our South West compulsory purchase team as a market leader, demonstrating exceptional client service and leadership. This appointment is a natural progression that reflects both her capabilities and our ambitions for the region. The South West continues to attract significant investment and development activity. Grace’s two decades of regional experience, combined with her proven ability to build high-performing teams, makes her ideally suited to drive our Exeter office forward and help our clients achieve the best property outcomes.”
