A private family office has purchased the freehold of the Radisson Blu hotel in Leicester Square from Starwood Capital Group for an undisclosed price.

The hotel comprises 127 rooms, an award-winning restaurant and a bar, six meeting rooms and The Skyline Penthouse, which provides unrivalled views of the London skyline.

Ellina Kraynik, director in CBRE’s UK hotels team, which advised the purchaser, said: “This asset aligns to a number of our client’s requirements, most notably the opportunity to own a prime, freehold hotel in a Central London location that holds long-term appeal. Completing the transaction further demonstrates the intentional approach, as well as our ability to act quickly to secure the best outcome.”

CLI Dartriver acted for the private family office on the acquisition and CMS was lead legal counsel to the purchaser.
