Linden Hill Capital Management has secured planning consent for a 220,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution facility in Huyton.
The Huyton 220 facility will feature a 65m deep yard, a 1.6 MVA power supply and 18m clear internal height. Located within the Liverpool City Region Freeport, the development benefits from strong transport links with immediate access to both the M57 and M62.
A spokesperson for Linden Hill Capital Management said: “Huyton 220 has been designed for a future world of automation, AI and sustainability. With 18m eaves, roof reinforcement capable of supporting a full coverage solar array & scope for a HQ quantum of office space – there is only one choice in the NW big box market to drive operational profitability and network competitiveness”
Joanna Gabrilatsou, regional head of planning at JLL, which secured planning consent for the scheme, added: “This development is a great example of breathing new life into an underutilised space, with the planning allowing for a best-in-class logistics building that makes the most of the developable land available. With immediate motorway access and significant internal storage capacity, the development has been designed to help potential occupiers get more out of their space, something that has become increasingly important for businesses as they look to drive efficiencies in the face of wider capital constraints.”
JLL and Box4 Real Estate have been appointed joint letting agents at Huyton 220.
