Retail and leisure consultancy McMullen Real Estate has made four senior hires to support the firm’s ongoing expansion in the UK and Ireland.
Jessica Short and Gerry Gillingham have joined the firm’s leasing team as directors. Short, who has more than 10 years’ experience of retail and leisure leasing at Colliers, has advised major UK shopping centres and outlets across the UK, as well as retailers including Santander, Vodafone, and Superdrug on their leasing, acquisitions, disposals and portfolio strategies.
Gillingham has 35 years’ experience acquiring UK land for corporates, occupiers and developers, and previously worked for the likes of Knight Frank, CBRE and Montagu Eans.
McMullen has also bolstered its capital markets and investments teams with two new hires. Drew Moore, who previously worked at JLL, CBRE and most recently Harvey Spack Field, has been appointed as a director, and Sophie France, who has six years of retail leasing and investment experience, specialising in out-of-town retail and foodstore transactions for funds, institutions, private investors and owner-occupiers, has been appointed as associate director.
Stephen McMullen, founder of McMullen Real Estate, said: “The business is experiencing a strong period of growth. We are therefore pleased to welcome Jess, Gerry, Drew and Sophie, further strengthening our position in the market and setting us up for ongoing development and success.”
