Mexican eatery El Mexicana has signed for a 600 sq ft unit at Peel L&P’s Gloucester Quays outlet. The brand will offer Mexican favourites, such as burritos, quesadillas and nachos, as well as sweet treats in the form of freshly made churros.

Paul Carter, asset director at Peel L&P, said: “Providing new options at Gloucester Quays means we can truly appeal to all of our visitors, whether they live locally or further afield, and whether they want to grab a quick lunch or enjoy a meal as part of a full day out. El Mexicana delivers on all of these – their offer works for a number of visitation reasons, and they add a fresh take on a new cuisine for Gloucester Quays.”

John Coverley, founder of El Mexicana, added: “Our take on some of the most famous Mexican dishes has universal appeal, and can be summed up in two words – fresh and vibrant. We are delighted to be joining Gloucester Quays, a place that has shown its huge F&B appeal and is continues to be relevant for a huge range of customers in and around Gloucester.”
