Pikup Padel has signed for a 33,400 sq ft unit at Follingsby Park in Gateshead.
The padel operator has signed a 10-year lease on Unit 17B at the 110-acre park. The venue will provide 11 courts when it opens later this summer.
Paddy Kendall, managing director of Pikup Padel, said: “Launching our first-ever site was a major decision and Follingsby Park immediately stood out as a location that reflects our vision for the sport, while enabling us to become part of a dynamic and growing business community.”
Kendall added: “We’re excited to bring padel to Gateshead and to create something entirely unique here.”
