YardNine has appointed Paul Nicholls as a director in its London-based development team.
Nicholls, who has 25 years of experience advising developers, investors and landowners on major central London projects, joins the company from BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he has served as head of London development since October 2020. Prior to this, he spent more than 18 years at CBRE.
In his new role, Nicholls will work closely with YardNine’s partners to manage and deliver its growing pipeline of schemes, while also helping to identify and secure new opportunities across the capital.
Maxwell Shand, director at YardNine, said: “Paul joins us at an exciting time for both YardNine and the London market. As we progress with the redevelopment of 50 Fenchurch Street and commence our strategy for our latest project, 70 Fenchurch Street, the scarcity of and ongoing demand for Grade A office space in London means there is a unique opportunity set for our capabilities and we look forward to pursuing this with his expertise.”
Nicholls added: “I am thrilled to join YardNine at such an pivotal time for the business, with a superb pipeline of projects and dynamic partners to work with. Investors and occupiers highly regard YardNine’s approach and track record, making us well placed to continue delivering best‑in‑class buildings.”
