Pennyfarthing Homes has strengthened its senior leadership team with the promotion of Nick Stone to land and planning director.

Stone joined Pennyfarthing Homes in 2010 as land manager and has been instrumental in identifying, securing and promoting key residential sites across Dorset and the New Forest.

In his new role, he will oversee the firm’s land and planning function and will focus on securing a further 500 units through a combination of immediate and strategic opportunities to support the business’s long-term growth ambitions.

Mark Adams, executive chairman at Pennyfarthing Homes, said: “Nick’s promotion reflects both his deep understanding of the land market and his consistent ability to deliver results. His strategic insight and collaborative approach will be vital as we continue to navigate a challenging planning and economic environment. We’re confident he will play a key role in driving the next phase of our expansion.”

Stone added: “I’m proud to have developed my career with Pennyfarthing Homes and to now lead our talented land and planning team. The market continues to present challenges, but also opportunities for those who can move decisively. My focus will be on strengthening our land pipeline and securing quality sites to deliver at least 500 additional homes over the coming years.”
