Global pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim has taken 36,479 sq ft at Frasers Property UK’s 1180 Winnersh Triangle office building in Reading.

The firm has signed for the third and part of the fourth floors of the building on a 10-year lease. Boehringer Ingelheim is relocating to its new premises in Q2 2026 from its current home on Ellesfield Ave, Bracknell, where it has been for more than 50 years.

Cushman & Wakefield, which represented the pharmaceutical company on the letting, has been appointed to act on the sale of Boehringer Ingelheim’s current site for redevelopment.

Ben Moynihan, finance director for Boehringer Ingelheim UK and Ireland, said: “Boehringer Ingelheim is delighted to confirm our move to 1180 Winnersh Triangle. The new location provides a high-quality environment that complements our ever-evolving ways of working and that will enable all of our employees to collaborate, innovate, and continue to put patients and customers at the heart of everything we do.”

Mark Denford, international partner in Cushman & Wakefield’s South East offices team, added: “This is an excellent outcome. Our client’s main requirement was to identify a suitable building of Grade A specification with good accessibility and strong environmental credentials, and 1180 Winnersh Triangle does just that. It will provide Boehringer Ingelheim employees with a new UK headquarters that is contemporary and vibrant, with a strong emphasis on employee wellbeing, fitness, and collaboration.”

CBRE and Hollis Hockley represented Frasers Property UK.
