Rail-led development company Platform4 has confirmed the departure of chief executive office Robin Dobson.
Dobson, who was formerly group property director of Network Rail, was appointed CEO of the company in September last year.
In July last year, the government announced plans to merge LCR and Network Rail’s property team to create Platform4, which will be tasked with delivering up to 40,000 new homes over the coming decade on surplus railway land.
The government appointed Bek Seeley, who previously led Lendlease’s development business in Europe, as chair of Platform4.
Seeley said: “After four years of leading Network Rail Property and being appointed CEO of Platform4, Robin Dobson has stepped down from the business to pursue other opportunities. Robin played an important part in shaping the development pipeline for the rail estate and in establishing Platform4, which brought together Network Rail’s property development team and LCR. We wish him success in the future as he transitions from the business.
“Andrew Ferguson will continue as acting chief executive and is leading the business with the support of the board. Platform4’s mission is to unlock the potential of rail-led and brownfield land remains our priority and focus.”
