Rapleys has appointed William Gittus from The Jockey Club as a partner in the business.
Gittus spent 17 years both as managing director of Jockey Club Estates and latterly as group property director, during which time he oversaw the regeneration of the racecourse training grounds at Lambourn, the construction of the Princess Royal Stand at Cheltenham Racecourse, the replacement of the roof on the Duchess Stand at Epsom Downs Racecourse and a refurbishment programme of the historic Jockey Club Rooms in Newmarket.
At Rapleys his remit will include the promotion of the firm’s national network of offices and the work of its four divisions – planning, building consultancy, commercial and residential.
