Ringley Group has appointed Christian Anderton as the company’s new MD investment and asset management.

Anderton, who has 17 years of experience in institutional investment, asset and development management, previously held roles at CBRE and Aviva Investors and set up niche investment practice Haida. In 2020, Anderton also founded smart building platform NodeTech.

In his new role, he will work closely with Roundly Group CEO Richard Williams and split his time between London and Manchester, where Ringley is re-launching its presence through a new, market-facing office at The Axle on Quay Street.

Williams said: “Securing Christian to join our expanding senior leadership team is a real coup and statement of intent as we accelerate our growth into commercial real estate. We now operate or advise in every real estate sector as a truly end-to-end, vertically integrated service and advisory offering, both intertwined and as standalone services.

“While our core business is anchored by our residential work, we are increasingly leveraging commercial activity, capitalising on clients that require a single advisor whilst also focusing on the demand for advisory work in the commercial and mixed use sector. This compliments trends in modern living and urban lifestyles, with consumers demanding more efficient, greener solutions in keeping with shift towards sustainability and well-being.”

Anderton added: “This is the ideal time for me to join a hugely successful business, at a transformational time in its journey.  The entrepreneurial culture and proprietary, in-house tech capabilities align very well with my vision for realising our growth ambitions.”
